I don't get upset at any company and typically let things roll off my back but...............
Sony support, representatives, their tech websites, systems, logic, and accounts are absolutely infuriating!!! Why in the world should a timelapse app have to be purchased through some ****** website for your camera!?! Why isn't this just a feature already built into the camera itself? You know why......because it is another petty money grab by Sony. I have LITERALLY, not figuratively, but literally, fussed with trying to get this timelapse app on my regrettable purchase of the A6000 for the last 6 days!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE REACHED HIGH-GRADE MAXIMUM FRUSTRATION!!!! It does not need to be THIS ****** DIFFICULT TO BUY A ****** APP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And NO ONE at Sony knows what is going on over there. I have called their tech support and they were actually getting short with me!? That girl told me she doesn't really know why I couldn't add funds to my account, and well, "Is there anything I can help you with?" Aboslute incompetence.
And what is up with their ridiculous CAPTCHA sign in? I feel like I am being Punk'd by Sony. Click the picture and it keeps changing and changing and changing. I have been given nothing but the run-around from all of this.
My sign-in, for the ludicrous PlayMemories app website, is saved by Firefox. I have not changed a thing on it! But then it all of sudden I try to sign in and it won't let me sign in!!!!!!! What happened!?!? I didn't change a thing. Then it says, "One sign-in to many Sony group services." By the way it should be spelled "too" not "to." That did not happen! All of this is after I FINALLY was able to add funds to my wallet with a Amazon Playstation digital pre-paid card. I added the funds and now I can't sign in! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I never in my 38 years of existence ever been so angry at one company. I am so utterly ****** off and Sony right now that I wish to NEVER NEVER NEVER do ANY business with them again! I SO absolutely regret buying the Sony A6000 camera! I should have bought the Nikon or Canon. And nobody at Sony will give a shi....about any of this. If anything I will be and inconvenience to them and will probably get mad or short at me.
And judging from ALL of the titles and angry responses and titles in the forums I know I am not alone.
So long Sony!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lost a customer (Not that you care).
