New computer and duplicate pictures

I have playmemories home import my camera pictures to a NAS drive.

My primary computer died and I have a new computer.

I installed playmemories and selected my NAS folder as the import directory.

When the import runs, it has no history of the pictures that are already there and creates duplicate pictures.

Is there a way to inventory the existing pictures to rebuild the playmemories database so it knows how to pick up where my other computer left off?

On my new computer with playmemories installed I selected "Tools - Update Database" and it's still trying to import every picture, duplicates included, from my camera.
