I noticed that PlayMemories seems to handle 4K video file names differently than HD files. Using my FDR-AX53, if I transfer HD files through PlayMemories, it smartly combines raw video files recorded during a single session, into a single file and changes the filename to include the date the video was recorded. When transfering 4K files, PlayMemories does nothing and stores the file with its native filename given by the camera, i.e. C0001.mp4. Note that the FDR-53AX camera resets the filename counter back to C0001.mp4 after the files are removed and so after many recording sessions, you end up with a very large number of video files with the same file name, requiring a lot of tedious, manual storage folder maintenance or the use of a third party software product to rename the files using the recording date. It would be a huge help if PlayMemories would handle 4K filenames the same way it does HD files and would update the filename with the recording date. Thank you very much.
