I have some 4k footage from a6300 that has an extreme camera shake on the last few frames. I thought I would remove the last few frames as it seem PlayMemories is able to trim MP4 files non destructively without transcoding. So far so good, except that it completely ignores my instructions. Here is what I do:
1. Open the video with the video trimmer.
2. Watch the clip to the end.
3. Step back frame by frame from the end. Lets say I step back 6 frames.
4. Mark that point as the OUF frame.
5. Click save edited clip.
Now I see the clip is saved with exactly the same file size and frame count. NO CHANGE, other then a new file was created.
Really?
The cause of the camera share of course is the poor placement of the video record button on the a6300.
